Special Needs Ferrets

This is Bart, a two year old male dark eyed white. He was found as a stray and brought to our vet clinic. As you can see, he has a badly mangled back leg, which is believed to be from a dog attack. He received hydro therapy treatments at the vet clinic. A full set of X-rays were done which revealed no broken bones, but we are unsure if there is any permanent spinal damage.

When he was first brought to the vet clinic, he would use his good back leg, but now has quit using it. He is currently on pain medication and anti-biotics and will require extensive medical care.

If you would like to make a contribution toward Bart’s care, you can donate through Paypal with the button below
